Our insurance is provided through Humana and offers excellent benefits. The vision insurance is especially valuable for those who regularly use glasses or contacts. The pre-tax premiums are likely lower than your annual vision care expenses.
This vision insurance can be used on top of the vision benefits with the health insurance. You can be double reimbursed for the same contacts / lenses. You should use the Humana insurance first, then request the reimbursement from your health insurance provider's vision benefit after.
